Monday ,Restoration Robotics Inc. said that its branded
Artas System has got a Canadian medical device license and can now be marketed
and sold in Canada.

The private medical device company is based in Mountain
View. Its minimally invasive robotic technology, controlled by the physician,
offers the ability to identify and harvest healthy follicular units from the
patient's scalp during hair transplantation.
The product has already received 501K clearance from the
U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
"The Artas System is quickly being embraced by top hair
restoration surgeons and their patients in the United States, and we are now
excited to offer this state-of-the-art technology in Canada," said Jim
McCollum, the CEO of Restoration Robotics in a prepared statement.
